“A camera doesn’t make a photograph, just as a typewriter doesn’t make a novel”

Living in Devon in the South West of England gives me an abundance of opportunities to head out and take shots of areas that I find really interesting.

Photography has always been a passion of mine, looking to capture angles and landscapes that might not always seem that obvious at first. Travelling has played a huge part in my love for photography, keeping my old trusted Olympus 3.2mp compact close by at all times. Despite the obvious limitations with the camera, photography seemed to come naturally to me and over the years I have visited some incredible places.

 

After jumping into the the world of SLR photography with a Canon 100D I had the tools to match my passion. Landscapes and cityscapes are the main focus of my portfolio but I am always looking to test my skills in new areas and to put into practice the many things I have learned over the years. Recently upgrading to a 70D, now I have a gentle beast to help me push myself further into the photography world.
